Princess Eugenie shares picture passionately kissing husband Jack Brooksbank as her mother Sarah Ferguson faces public fallout following leaked Epstein email

Princess Eugenie celebrated her and husband Jack Brooksbank’s seventh wedding anniversary with a sweet photo that showed the couple embracing in a passionate embrace.

The 35-year-old married royal family marketing executive Jack, 39, in a lavish ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in 2018, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte among the page boys and bridesmaids.

In the never-before-seen photo, Eugenie and Jack, who share two boys and two-year-old Ernest on August 4, are seen kissing with their arms around each other.

Eugenie, who is not a working royal, wears a pink suede jacket with her married name ‘Brooksbank’ stitched onto the back.

Jack, meanwhile, is dressed in a dark gray suit jacket and wears a signet ring on his little finger.

Eugenie, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who is twelfth in line to the throne, captioned the romantic photo: ‘Happy anniversary… 7 years and counting!’

The outdoor photo received more than 30,500 likes in four hours, while more than 300 royal fans added their wishes in the comments section.

While the passionate embrace delighted Eugenie’s 1.8 million Instagram followers, celebrations in the Brooksbank family may be muted as Eugenie backs her mother after the Mail revealed leaked emails between her and disgraced pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The duchess has not been seen in public for several weeks after the resurfacing of an email she sent to Epstein in 2011, in which she called him her “best friend” and apologized for previously criticizing him.

The message, written years after he was convicted of child sex offences, sparked outrage and led at least eight UK charities to drop him as patron, including the British Heart Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust and Julia’s House.

Fergie is now understood to be laying low at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, which she shares with her ex-husband, and is facing one of the most serious reputation crises of her life.

Biographer Ingrid Seward said this week: ‘This time he’ll probably have to do something he’s never done before and he’ll be gone for a long time.’

Andrew has also been linked to the disgraced financier through the ‘Epstein Files’, a cache of flight listings, phone messages and financial records made public by US lawmakers last week.

The documents contain details of a trip Andrew took with Epstein during an official visit for the NSPCC in 2000, which intensified questions about the nature of their relationship.

Meanwhile, Eugenie’s sister Princess Beatrice Amid negativity at home, she escaped to New York last weekend to celebrate a close friend’s wedding.

Eugenie and Jack’s wedding was attended by senior royals as well as celebrities including singer Ellie Goulding, actor, comedian and writer Stephen Fry and actress Demi Moore.

While the televised ceremony was watched by 3 million Britons, the couple’s big day was said to be overshadowed by the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child.

The couple made their exciting announcement with then-Prince Charles, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II. He reportedly chose the opportunity to share it with Elizabeth.

Eugenie and her older sister Princess Beatrice, 37, have continued to maintain work commitments amid the Jeffrey Epstein email scandal that has engulfed their mother and left her stripped of their patronage.

Earlier this month, Eugenie stepped into a new role at British-based charity Arts Work.

He has been appointed boss of the organisation, which aims to enable young people living in the UK to enter the creative sector by offering work placements and training.

The charity announced the news on Friday, October 3, by posting a series of photos of the royal family at an event, greeting members and discussing strategy.

Eugenie wore a casual sleeveless denim dress which she paired with a khaki bomber jacket.

She wore her hair in a stylish messy bun and opted for natural make-up for the occasion.

Arts Work wrote under the photo: ‘We are thrilled to announce Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie is our new boss. ‘His support marks an important moment in our mission to support creativity and amplify the voices of children and young people.’

The organization added that it was ‘delighted’ that Eugenie ‘joins us to champion inclusive, creative opportunities that enable young people to make change’.

Fans congratulated Eugenie on her new role, with one describing her as a ‘wonderful, down-to-earth royalty’.

Another wrote: ‘I love seeing Eugenie use her position to help others. Well done Princess!’

A third said: ‘Congratulations Princess is going to be amazing! What a blessing for you.’

Princess Eugenie currently works full-time as a director at the Hauser & Wirth art gallery in London, but she also has royal patronages outside of her job.

In 2017, she founded the Anti-Slavery Collective with her sister, Princess Beatrice, and is also under the auspices of the National Orthopedic Hospital and Horatio’s Garden.

Last month, she also flew to New York City to join the co-founders of the Anti-Slavery Collective, which launched a campaign to help raise awareness of the human cost behind counterfeit clothing.

The new patronage comes as the royal author claimed Beatrice and Eugenie were left in a ‘very difficult’ situation with their upcoming Christmas plans.

Journalist Phil Dampier told the Daily Mail that the sisters ‘might feel it would be unfair’ for them to join the King, Queen and other royals at Sandringham if their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, were left out.

Sources have claimed that the Duke and Duchess of York, both 65, were told they were not welcome at the Royal Family’s Christmas celebrations following a new scandal involving Jeffrey Epstein.

King Charles, 76, is understood to want to stay away from Andrew and his ex-wife after the Mail on Sunday revealed how Fergie wrote a letter to Epstein to apologize for publicly disowning the pedophile financier.

The Yorks, who live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor despite their divorce in 1996, were told to make themselves ‘invisible’ at future royal meetings, insiders claim.

Mr Dampier said: ‘If it turns out they weren’t invited or they decide not to go, it will make things very difficult for Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.

‘They may feel it would be unfair for them to go when their parents aren’t there, and this will only add salt to their wounds.

‘The King has a soft spot for both Beatrice and Eugenie and feels sorry for their situation. So it’s a real dilemma for him, and one he could do without.’

The royal author suggested the Prince of Wales would not want his sisters to be left out because of their parents, adding: ‘He has a good relationship with his cousins.’

Last year, Eugenie spent Christmas with her mother-in-law Jack Brooksbank’s family, while Beatrice joined other royals at Sandringham. The only time either sister missed the Royal Family’s festive gathering was in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.

Charles, meanwhile, asked the Duchess of York to help persuade Andrew to ‘do the right thing’ and avoid Christmas celebrations at his Norfolk estate after it was revealed last year that the Duke was cozying up to alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo.

The Yorks spent last Christmas together at the Royal Lodge, but their daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie did not join them.

A source close to the king said: Sunday Times: ‘You can’t exclude anyone from being your brother.

‘But this year, if the duke and duchess were both so dignified [as last year]This would be much better and the family would not be disappointed, especially to avoid the King having to make more difficult decisions.’
