Alec Baldwin makes bizarre claim about Hamptons crash as Hilaria thanks fans for well-wishes

Alec Baldwin shared a bizarre claim about what caused his car crash in the Hamptons on Monday morning.
The 30-year-old rock star, who was driving his wife Hilaria’s Range Rover with his brother Stephen as a passenger, crashed into a tree, causing serious damage to the vehicle.

Hailey Bieber’s father, Stephen Baldwin, was also seen taking photos of the crash scene.
The scene photos included a picture of a garbage truck, but the owner told TMZ that the truck driver was not at fault for Baldwin’s crash.

She and Alec are also siblings of actors Daniel Baldwin and William Baldwin.

Baldwin has been sober for almost 40 years after years of drug and alcohol addiction.
He married Hilaria in 2012 and they have seven children together.
He was previously married to actress Kim Basinger and has a daughter with her who is Irish.
While filming the Western movie Rust in New Mexico in October 2021, Baldwin was holding a prop gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
The film’s director, Joel Souza, was injured in the incident.
The case against Baldwin was dismissed in 2024 after it was revealed that the prosecution withheld evidence in the case and did not share information about or access to live ammunition brought by a retired police officer who said it might have been related to Hutchins’ killing.
Last January, Baldwin filed a civil lawsuit. Santa Fe accuses several people in the New Mexico District Attorney’s Office of malicious prosecution and civil rights violations After being charged in connection with the shooting.
