Op Sindoor Ensured Devastation of Pak Terror HQs: Amit Shah

Manesar (Haryana): Operation Sindoor ensured destruction of headquarters, training centers and launch pads of terrorist groups in Pakistan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday. Speaking on the 41st Rising Day at the headquarters of the anti-terrorism ‘Black Cat’ commando force National Security Guard (NSG) here, Shah also said that the government will set up a center (the force’s sixth) in the temple town of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.
“Operation Sindoor ensured the destruction of Pakistani terror headquarters, training centers and launch pads,” he said.
As part of Operation Sindoor, Indian defense forces targeted terrorist infrastructure and defense installations in Pakistan in May following an attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam district on April 22 that killed 26 people.
NSG is a federal emergency force under the Union home ministry. It was established in 1984 and ‘Black Cat’ commandos are tasked with protecting high-risk VIPs as well as specific counter-terrorism and hijacking operations.
The five existing NSG centers are Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Gandhinagar.
