Man arrested over murder of pregnant mother

A 28 -year -old man, Donaghadee, was arrested suspected of the murder of a woman in the district Down.

Sarah, a 27 -year -old mother, was named as Montgomery, and it was confirmed that she was pregnant in her death, and that she died at the scene.

The police received a report on Saturday at about 14:15 on Saturday, an unconscious woman who was seriously injured in a house in the Elmfield Walk region of the city.

Police cords remain in place.

“Investigations are at an early stage of this deep tragic case.

“Our thoughts are forced to deal with what happened with Sarah’s family for this incredibly difficult time.”

He added that the family was supported by “specially trained civil servants”.
