Does the NACC have any hope of regaining public trust?

Pressure is mounting on the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). Amid a series of new revelations about its chief commissioner, the NACC faces major challenges in regaining public trust. But as tensions began to show, there were few signs of progress in terms of results or accountability.
“If public trust is affected, it’s not our job to affect public trust,” NACC CEO Philip Reed said. Senate explained its predictions last week. In fact, it would be difficult to judge NACC by its work because the public has seen so little of it.
