Adani selling coal to India at mates rates. What’s the scam?

Queensland taxpayers missed out on almost $400 million after the Queensland LNP government dropped a lawsuit initiated by the previous Labor government. What is fraud?
The scam involved Adani selling coal to Indian buyers at $102 per tonne at a time when world prices were around $280 per tonne, greatly reducing royalties due to Queenslanders.
Australia Institute (TAI) Research Director Rod Campbell said: MWM“Just when Queenslanders were struggling hardest with record energy prices in 2023, Adani was giving away coal at near-par rates.”
… Foreign-owned coal and gas companies like Adani are not only taking our resources, they are also getting really pissed off.
Adani denial the claim is that “the assumptions of the analysis are false and based on incompatible data, false assumptions, and back-of-the-napkin mathematics.”
PwC and Adani mine experienced triple decline. Conflict of interest? Absolutely not
