Crystal Palace: Marc Guehi will leave next year – Oliver Glasner

Glasner said: “This is how we can handle this situation. (What is) the best way to take the next step? And it’s all about how we talk together.”
Guehi, who has made 167 appearances for Palace since arriving from Chelsea in 2021, was on the verge of joining Liverpool this summer.
He passed a medical and was expected to complete a £35 million move, but Palace pulled out of the deal on transfer deadline day after failing to replace an offer to sign Brighton defender Igor Julio.
Guehi has played all 12 games in all competitions for Palace this season, helping them finish sixth in the Premier League.
Reports suggest Palace are looking to sell him in January and Liverpool could compete with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Guehi made his 26th England appearance in this month’s 3-0 friendly against Wales and said he “definitely has an opportunity” to make the squad for the 2026 World Cup even if he remains at Palace for the rest of the season.
