Katie Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler is charged with the rape and sex assault of a 13-year-old girl while married to star

Katie Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl three times and sexually assaulting her once while he was married to the star.

The 38-year-old personal trainer is alleged to have committed the offenses between June and October 2016, in the middle of his marriage to the 47-year-old glamorous former model.

The couple married in 2013 and had two children, Jett, 12, and Bunny, 11, before splitting in 2018.

The alleged victim is not a member of either Katie’s or Kieran’s family.

Sussex Police said on Sunday night: Sun Reports: ‘We can confirm that Kieran Hayler, 38, of Northchapel in West Sussex, has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl.

‘The offenses are alleged to have been committed between 1 June and 13 October 2016 at an address in West Sussex.

‘Hayler has been released under investigation and will appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on November 19.

‘The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, received support from specially trained police officers while our investigations continued.’

Hayler’s legal representative said on Sunday night: ‘Kieran Hayler strongly denies the allegations made against him in their entirety.

‘Mr Hayler has and will continue to co-operate fully with police throughout the investigation.

‘He is eagerly waiting for his name to be cleared by having faith in the judicial system to do this.’

Representatives for Katie Price declined to comment when reached by the Daily Mail.

Hayler and Katie first met in 2012 before proposing on Christmas Day that year.

They were married in January 2013 at the Shoes Royal Bahamian luxury resort in the Bahamas.

This was followed by a wedding blessing ceremony at the Rookery Manor Hotel in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, in March the same year.

The couple were joined at the event by 13 bridesmaids and friends, including TV presenter Rylan Clark, model Danielle Lloyd and Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton.

The newlyweds then spent a magnificent honeymoon in the Maldives.

This was her third marriage, following her wedding to singer Peter Andre in 2005 and cage fighter Alex Reid in 2010.

Katie gave birth to her first child with Hayler, Jett Riviera, in August 2013, and they welcomed their daughter Bunny a year later.

However, in May 2014, while Katie was pregnant with their second child, Katie discovered Hayler was cheating on her with her best friend Jane Pountney.

He caught the pair kissing on a beach in Cape Verde, and Hayler later admitted that he had been in a long-term relationship with Jane.

Katie later learned that he was also having an affair with another friend, Chrissy Thomas.

After these two infidelities, he forgave Hayler: ‘She’s proven herself.

‘I actually told him, ‘I forgive you now, I forget’ because I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t have to worry about him anymore. ‘I trust him.’

However, he later cheated on her again with their nanny, Nikki Brown, in 2017; Katie said despite Ms Brown’s admission, she denied it at first.

The former sexy model explained at the time: ‘I was crying, ‘How could you do this to me again?’ I was asking.

‘When I begged him to tell the truth, he finally said, ‘Yes, we did.'”

The couple renewed their wedding vows for the second time in a ceremony in the Maldives in July 2017, following a similar ceremony two years earlier.

However, their marriage broke down in 2018 and in May of the same year, Katie announced that she would be filing for divorce over another affair.

The split was only finalized three years later, in 2021, amid pandemic-related delays.

Hayler said at the time: ‘This was out of our hands. There was no legal struggle.

‘I told him, ‘I’ll be the only one who doesn’t take money from you because that’s not who I am, I don’t want his money.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Sussex Police and Kieran Hayler’s representatives for comment.
