Heat records broken as insane weather batters the country

HEAT WAVES, FIRES AND STORMS
It will be a day of harsh weather, with strong winds, thunderstorms and heatwaves affecting many parts of Australia.
Regions in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales will experience the windiest day this spring. Nine News reports.
“We’re talking about winds in excess of 100 km per hour here,” ABC reported. Breakfast weather presenter Nate Byrne he said early this morning.
“We’re likely to see devastating winds along the coast west of Cape Otway in Victoria, where we’re talking winds potentially reaching speeds of up to 130km/h.
