Hyderabad man wins hearts after ordering sweets just to gift them to delivery agents

A Hyderabad resident won hearts online by sharing a video of himself ordering sweets through delivery apps like Swiggy, Blinkit, Zepto and BigBasket and then delivering them to delivery partners as Diwali gifts.

In the video shared by Gundeti Mahendra Reddy on Instagram, Reddy is seen ordering sweets from four different delivery platforms and gifting them to the delivery drivers. The clip has been viewed more than 1.7 million times and received praise from social media users.

The video’s caption reads: “For Diwali, we ordered sweets from Swiggy, Blinkit, Zepto and BigBasket and delivered them to delivery partners.”

The short video ends with a smiling delivery man taking the candies and thanking them.

Many users praised this kind gesture. “That was a very kind gesture,” one user said, while another said: “Thank you for this idea. I never thought of it.”

Others called it a small but meaningful way to recognize delivery workers who continue to serve even during the holidays.
