Kylie Minogue and Shawn Mendes are some of the global stars who will perform at Prince William’s Earthshot Awards ceremony in Brazil.

The Prince of Wales will travel to the South American country for the awards ceremony in Rio in November and will continue to join world leaders at the COP30 global climate change summit in Belem in the Amazon.

Kylie is among a host of stars attending the awards, including former culture minister Gilberto Gil, who will take the stage with Brazilian music icon and up-and-coming countryman Anitta, while Seu Jorge will also take the stage.

“Brazil – I’m coming back! It’s a privilege and an honor to be part of the Earthshot Prize in Rio, to be on stage with the people and ideas that can save our planet,” Minogue said.

Earthshot’s 2025 finalists were announced a few weeks ago. William founded the prize to recognize and amplify ideas that will help “repair” the planet; The five winning finalists were each awarded STG 1 million (US$2.1 million) to further develop their ideas.

Actor Matthew McConaughey voiced the award trailer, Meet the World’s Real Action Heroes, which featured the 15 finalists and showcased their solutions.

Brazilian broadcaster Luciano Huck will host the ceremony on November 5.

Presenters include sports stars Marcos Evangelista de Morais, former Brazilian football defender better known as Cafu; Four-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel; and Txai Surui, one of the leading voices of Brazil’s indigenous communities and environment.

“The real heroes of our day are the people who are out there doing the work, restoring forests, cleaning rivers and taking care of the places we call home,” said singer-songwriter Jorge.

“Their work reminds us that healing the Earth begins with small acts of courage, and I am proud to be a part of the Earthshot Prize, which celebrates this spirit and the people who refuse to give up on our planet.”
