Crash involving semi-truck shuts down stretch of Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County
Orlando police are at the scene of a crash affecting traffic on the Florida Turnpike.
Orlando police said the southbound crash involved a semi-truck that overturned on Interstate 4.
Drivers in this area will encounter backups.
Starting at 7 a.m., the southbound ramp from the Turnpike to I-4 was closed.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes.
Police said they expect this closure to last about two hours.

At last report, traffic backups extended more than three miles southbound on the Turnpike.
