Faceoff Planned On A War Footing
Ranbir Kapoor’s last encounter was with Bobby Deol in Sandeep Vanga’s Pet. The actor, who plays Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, faces a very different and much tougher confrontation with his on-screen Ravan, played by Kannada superstar Yash.
The elaborate on-screen battle between Ram and Ravan is supposed to demonstrate something beyond the thrill of the fight: honor.
A source close to the project says: “The encounter is planned with choreographic detail. They cannot allow Ram and Ravan to do flying kicks and somersaults in the air. Any signs of cheating must be avoided.”
The action team is working to turn the battle between Good and Evil into a spectacular and elegant battle. And no, there will be no blood! See, the blood of the gods does not flow.
