Thanksgiving 2025: Walmart and ALDI unveil budget-friendly meal deals and food baskets, here are the prices, what’s inside, and how to buy
Walmart is bringing back its popular Thanksgiving Value Meal, which provides all the essentials for under $4 per person, at the lowest price since the company began offering holiday packages.
The $40 package includes more than 20 items, from Butterball turkey to classic appetizers and dessert ingredients. Customers can order online for pickup or delivery through Dec. 25 and even personalize ingredients before checking out.
“We know every dollar and minute counts,” said John Furner, President and CEO of Walmart U.S. “We want every family to be able to share a meal and celebrate without sacrificing quality, quantity or tradition.”
The estimated cost of under $4 per person marks the lowest price since Walmart first introduced holiday meal bundles.
Each basket comes with classic sides like a turkey and stuffing, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, potatoes, glazed carrots and gravy, all topped off with traditional pumpkin pie for dessert.

Prime Rib Food Basket – $119.18 (includes Angus steak and bottle of wine)
ALDI’s Affordable Holiday Feast
ALDI is offering a Thanksgiving dinner package that includes a 14-pound turkey, an array of classic appetizers and dessert for about $40.
“ALDI’s commitment to low prices is unwavering,” said ALDI US CEO Atty McGrath. “Saving our shoppers money is our mission every day, but it’s especially important during the holidays.”
What’s in ALDI’s Thanksgiving basket:

- Fresh Celery, Onion, Carrots and Cranberries
- Chicken or Cornbread Stuffing

- Mac and Cheese, Chicken Broth, and Brown Sauce Mix
- Hawaiian Dessert Rolls and Mini Marshmallows
- Canned Pumpkin, Pie Crust, Evaporated Milk, and Whipped Topping
Shoppers can order ALDI food online for pickup or delivery through Dec. 24 or pick up items individually in stores.
