From fake blood to fashion

Since starring in Glow Up, Axel has been busy with several major projects, including a bloody horror movie. As the lead makeup artist, they designed a tube rig hidden beneath the prosthetic skin so that fake blood could gush out of characters’ fake wounds when they were “attacked.”

Axel is also working on makeup for fashion designer Jean Louie Castillo’s runway show. This also has the ghost factor that Axel said. “HE [Jean Louie] She loves having special effects makeup that creates ghouls walking down the runway. Very gothic, very edgy and right up my alley.”
