Women Saved ₹6,300 Cr With Zero Tickets

Haydarabad: Transport and BC welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that TGSRTC plans to place electric buses along the outer ring road corridor. He also called for inhabitants to contact RTC officials for information about expanding public transportation services to new colonies.
On Monday, the Minister focused on the release of the Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) and the release of the automatic wage collection system (AFCS). The Minister has shown the ease of digital payments and the ease of touching and moving tickets under the AFCs on RTC buses in the city for the last three months.
Bir Only 20 percent of the passengers use digital payment every day, Prab Prabhakar said, the system will soon be expanded to the fleet, he added.
MahalShmi drew attention to the free travel plan for women introduced by the State Government. “RTC has released 191 Crore zero headlight tickets under this initiative and saved women about 6,300 crore so far,” Prabhakar said.
