Ahead of Phase 2 of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) covering 12 states/UTs including West Bengal, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh called for a democratic and transparent process, warning against harassment of valid voters. BJP spokesperson Keya Ghosh welcomed the practice, claiming that there were invalid voters in Mamata Banerjee’s vote bank and said the SIR would remove them.
