Two Govt Buses Collide Head on in Andhra, 20 Injured

Chittoor: 20 passengers were injured when two buses belonging to the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation collided head-on on Tuesday morning, a police official said. According to police, the accident took place when the buses were trying to turn from Punganur mandal here.
“Two APSRTC buses collided with each other and around 20 people were injured. No serious injuries were reported and those with minor injuries were taken to the nearest government hospital,” Palamaner Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) B Prabhakar told PTI.
He said a total of 48 passengers were traveling on both buses when the collision occurred. Meanwhile, police are in the process of registering the case.
