Apple, Microsoft cross $4 trillion market cap for the first time

Apple And Microsoft Shares rose on Tuesday, pushing companies above $4 trillion in market value for the first time.
Both companies are lagging behind NvidiaIt is the most valuable company in the world, with a market value exceeding $4.6 trillion.
The milestone comes as Apple shares have soared in recent weeks as iPhone 17 models released in September appear to be selling better than their predecessors.
Apple shares have increased in 11 of the last 12 trading days. It will announce its fourth-quarter financial results on Thursday. Microsoft will report earnings on Wednesday.
