2 die in elephant attack in Sringeri taluk of Karnataka

Two people are suspected to have died in an elephant attack in the Kerekatte area of ​​Kudremukh Wildlife Division in Sringeri taluk of Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka on the morning of October 31.

The deceased were identified as Umesh (43) and Harish (41) from Keregadde near Kerekatte. The incident occurred when they entered the forest.

Kerekatte Range Forest Department officials reached the scene.
