Gautam Adani’s company reports five-fold rise in net profit at Rs…

The company had announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 199.7 billion in the same period of the last financial year.

ACC Q2 Results: indian billionaire Gautam Adani Cement manufacturing company ACC Ltd reported that its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) rose more than fivefold to Rs 1,119.26 billion in the September quarter (Q2) on the back of strong sales. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 199.7 billion in the same period last financial year, ACC Ltd said in a regulatory filing.

It added that consolidated revenue from operations in the September quarter stood at Rs 5,896.16 Million as compared to Rs 4,542.23 Million in the same period last fiscal year. Total expenses in the quarter under review were Rs 5,393.42 billion compared to Rs 4,473.67 billion in the same period in the previous year, the company said.

The filing stated that the revenue from cement and ancillary services increased to Rs 5,519.18 billion in the second quarter from Rs 4,373.41 billion in the same period of the previous year. The company said its ready-mixed concrete segment generated revenue of Rs 453.62 billion compared to Rs 289.1 billion in the same period last fiscal year.

Gautam Adani-led Adani Group acquired Ambuja Cements and its subsidiary ACC Ltd from Switzerland’s Holcim Group for US$ 6.4 billion in 2022. Currently, ACC’s market capitalization is Rs 35285 billion. The cement maker’s share price closed at Rs 1,879 on October 31.
