Tesco hands incredible new benefit to Clubcard holders – 24 million customers eligible | UK | News

Millions of Tesco customers could be eligible for a huge savings deal with Clubcard vouchers worth three times their normal value. The new offer means customers with £10 worth of Clubcard vouchers can turn them into £30 to spend at Pizza Express. To access the deal, Tesco members simply go to the Pizza Express page on the Tesco app or website and convert the vouchers into a discount code.

“We’re committed to offering great rewards to our Clubcard Members, so we’re delighted that Clubcard vouchers are now tripling in value for a meal at Pizza Express, one of our most popular Clubcard reward partners,” said Shama Wilson, Group Director of Membership and Loyalty at Tesco. “Using your vouchers for triple value on a delicious meal at Pizza Expres is the ideal way to host family, spend time with friends or take a break from pre-Christmas shopping and save money at the same time.”

The enhanced triple value proposition launched on 29 October and is available to more than 24 million Brits who hold a Clubcard.

Chris Holmes, Commercial Director at Pizza Express, said: “We are excited to deliver even more value to families and pizza lovers across the UK through our long-standing partnership with Tesco Clubcard.

“For decades, Pizza Express has been a part of these special shared moments, from family meals to friendly gatherings and celebrations, and this triple value proposition makes it easier than ever for Clubcard members to enjoy time with both the people they love and their favorite pizza.”

The new partnership comes just weeks after Tesco announced a new loyalty card benefit in collaboration with Cineworld.

The supermarket teamed up with the cinema chain for ‘Tesco Tuesdays’ earlier this month, giving Clubcard holders the chance to buy cinema tickets for just £2.50.

Tesco increased both its market share and sales in the 12 weeks to 5 October; the former increased by 0.7% year-on-year, and the latter by almost 7%.
