Indo-Pacific Should Remain Free From Any Form of Coercion: Rajnath

New Delhi: The Indo-Pacific must remain open, inclusive and free from any pressure, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Saturday, at a time when global concerns are growing over China’s military show of force in the region. The defense minister also said that India is in favor of strengthening the overarching regional security architecture led by ASEAN.
He made this statement at the ASEAN Defense Ministers Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
ADMM-Plus is a platform consisting of 11 countries ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and eight dialogue partners (India, China, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Russia and the USA).
