Fox News Anchors Amused by Trump’s Declaration That ‘Everything’ Is the Democrats’ Fault
Fox News anchors john roberts And Gillian Turner I couldn’t help but have some fun at the President Donald Trump’s Declaration that “everything” is the Democrats’ fault.
Open America Reports On Thursday, the network broadcast that Trump held Democrats responsible for the current government in a conversation with reporters in Florida. close. Democrats and Republicans are at an impasse over whether to continue funding the government, with Democrats demanding the inclusion of expired subsidies in the Affordable Care Act.
Trump said:
It’s their fault. Everything is their fault. This was solved very easily. You know, we have a lot of Democrats who voted for this, but the Republicans are very united, they’re very strong, and they want to do what’s right for the country. They don’t want to see trillions of dollars wasted on people coming into our country illegally, many from prisons and many from areas you don’t even want to know about. That’s why we want to see this issue resolved quickly. You have a lot of support, we have tremendous support, but it’s not even support. This is common sense. Open the country. As I have said for years, Obamacare has become a disaster. It can be fixed or redone. People aren’t getting good healthcare and their premiums are going up every year, so we have to change that. This is a disaster. Obamacare is bad healthcare at a very high price. We have a big Halloween celebration tonight and see you then.
Turner repeated the phrase “it’s all their fault” and admitted it made him laugh.
“He also said, ‘it’s all their fault. I don’t know. I have to giggle at that,’ he said.
Roberts argued that polls support Trump’s view.
“I mean, when you look at the polls, you see more people are on the side of the Democrats than the Republicans, but there’s no doubt that pressure points are starting to build on the Democrats,” he said.
CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten It was noted earlier this week that this indicated a shutdown surge for Republicans and “concerning” numbers for Democrats.
“When we look at the overall Republican Party, we see that this brand has actually increased by two points,” he said. “That’s within the margin of error, but it clearly hasn’t fallen… Look at the net approval ratings of Republicans in Congress. It’s actually up five points since before the shutdown! So what we’re seeing here is that the Republican brand in Congress has actually improved a little bit compared to where we were pre-shutdown.”
