China And Pakistan’s Worst Nightmare Just Became Reality: India Activates World’s Highest Airbase At 13,700 Feet – SU-30 Fighters Now Rule The Himalayan Skies | India News

World’s Highest Air Base: The dragon and his all-weather companion received a wake-up call they’ll never forget. India has quietly activated the Nyoma Advanced Landing Field in eastern Ladakh, the world’s highest operational fighter jet airbase, located at a jaw-dropping altitude of 13,700 feet above sea level. And both Beijing and Islamabad are losing sleep over what this means.

Located in the dangerous Changthang region near the Indus River Valley, this is not just any air base. It is a strategic masterpiece positioned like a dagger directly into China’s soft underbelly, just 160 kilometers southeast of Leh and dangerously close to the Line of Actual Control. Located south of the disputed Pangong Tso Lake and east of the rugged Karakoram mountain range, Nyoma is transforming India’s high-altitude air warfare capabilities overnight.

News has exploded on social media that India’s powerful Sukhoi SU-30MKI fighter jets taking off from Nyoma have sent shockwaves through enemy capitals. According to media reports, these are real fighter jet missions flying at an altitude where most jets have difficulty even breathing. Although the Ministry of Defense and the Indian Air Force have not made official statements, the evidence is undeniable and the consequences are terrifying for India’s enemies.

According to Tribune India and as confirmed by multiple sources, the base is now fully operational for combat operations, with upgrades expected to be completed this month. The timing could not be more strategic, as it comes amid simmering border tensions with China and constant provocations from Pakistan.

What Should China and Pakistan Be Afraid of?

For China, Nyoma poses a major threat to its military bases along the LAC. Indian warplanes can now reach disputed areas within minutes from the world’s highest air base, while Chinese planes struggle in the thin mountain air.

Pakistan also faces the same concern. Nyoma’s location near the Indus River puts important Pakistani infrastructure within easy range, allowing India to monitor and, if necessary, stop movements in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

India’s High Altitude Domination Completed

With Nyoma operational, India now dominates the Himalayan skies like never before. Enemy aircraft venturing near Indian territory face an unprecedented challenge: Indian jets take off from heights they can barely reach, pilots are acclimatized and planes are optimized for thin-air warfare.

The message to Beijing and Islamabad is clear: the Himalayas belong to India. And now India has the air base to prove it.
