That’s because Andrew has faced several scandals over the years regarding his former friendship with Epstein, accusations that he denies.

Although it is believed that Andrew is no longer staying with his ex-husband due to the loss of his royal titles and even his home at the Royal Lodge, Sarah’s friend said it had “cost her dearly” for Sarah to remain faithful to him for so long.

That’s because, despite making her own mistakes, she continues to live with Andrew at the Royal Lodge despite scandal after scandal now damaging the monarchy.

Speaking on Channel 5 show Vanessa on Friday, Sarah’s friend Lizzie Cundy said: “I’m afraid Sarah’s biggest mistake was her loyalty to Andrew because that mud stuck to her.”

He continued: “Unfortunately this really cost him dearly because of his lack of judgment and his fundamental loyalty to Andrew. Unfortunately he cannot be reconciled with Andrew.”

Like Andrew, Sarah has lost her royal title and can no longer call herself the Duchess of York.

While Andrew has been moved from Royal Lodge at Windsor and is instead housed in a property on King Charles’s private estate at Sandringham, Sarah is not going with him.

Instead, it is believed she will be making her own housing arrangements, away from her ex-husband, whom she divorced in 1996 but remains good friends with.
