Female Fox anchor, 47, charged with murdering her MOM as cops reveal horrifying bedroom crime scene

A local Missouri station’s Fox TV host was arrested for murder after his elderly mother was found stabbed to death, according to police.

About ten years ago St. Angelynn Mock, 47, a presenter on St. Louis television channel Fox 2, was taken into custody in Wichita, Kansas, on Friday for killing her 80-year-old mother, Anita Avers.

Officers with the Wichita Police Department responded to a stabbing around 8 a.m. and found Mock standing in front of a home while his mother was found in a bed with multiple stab wounds.

Avers was taken to the hospital and later died, police said.

Mock was also treated at the hospital, but the agency did not specify why. He was later arrested on first-degree murder charges.

The once glamorous journalist worked as an anchor and reporter at Fox 2 from March 2011 to February 2015, according to her LinkedIn page.

Neighbor Alyssa Castro, who witnessed the aftermath of the horrific incident, said Mock approached her and her boyfriend with blood everywhere.

“There was a woman approaching our vehicle with what appeared to be blood on her hands and body and wanted to call 911,” Castro said. KAKE.

The shocking news of Avers’ death came as mother and daughter portrayed a happy relationship on social media.

The 80-year-old’s Facebook profile picture is of Mock livestreaming coverage of a baseball game.

Details about the stabbing remain unclear.
