IDF destroys hundred-meter long tunnel, rocket depot in northern Gaza
Two operations were carried out in northern Gaza and Hamas’ infrastructure was destroyed; Undercover operations in the West Bank succeeded in detaining Hamas officials in Nablus.
The army said on Tuesday that the IDF destroyed a Hamas compound containing launchers and rockets in Shecaya, northern Gaza, while a hundreds of meters long tunnel was found and destroyed in Jabaliya.
“Since the ceasefire agreement came into force, IDF soldiers “During the searches carried out by the 11th Brigade, a compound containing launchers, rockets and launch sites belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization was detected in the center of the Shejaia region in the north of Gaza.”
The statement also said, “An underground tunnel route hundreds of meters long and tens of meters deep in the Jabaliya region was detected and dismantled by 188th Brigade soldiers and Yahalom soldiers.”
In a separate operation, soldiers from the elite Duvdevan unit under the command of Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) arrested two terrorists hiding in the neighborhoods of the city of Nablus.

“Two wanted terrorists determined to be affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization in Balata camp and Masachen village of Sha’biyah,” the army said.
Hezbollah is rearming at an alarming rate
On the northern front, a secret report shared in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in the Knesset said Hezbollah’s rearmament rate was faster than the IDF’s current attacks on it.
The report stated that Hezbollah strengthened its forces faster than the IDF managed to hit, and that the blows it received in the last war began to lose their effect as the organization reorganized its forces.
