RRB Railway Recruitment 2025: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recently published notification for 2,569 vacancies in various regions. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website rrbapply.gov.in by 30 November 2025.
Railway Recruitment Positions 2025
The recruitment drive includes Junior Engineer (JE), Warehouse Material Handler (DMS) and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) positions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Engineer (JE): Candidates must have a three-year diploma or B.Sc degree in Civil, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, Tooling and Machining, Tools and Mold Making, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Warehouse Materials Officer (DMS): Three-year degree in any engineering discipline required.
- Chemistry and Metallurgy Assistant (CMA): Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Chemistry and have at least 45% marks.
Application Fee
The application fee for SC/ST, women, transgender, minority and economically backward candidates is Rs 250 (refundable after deducting bank charges after advancing to CBRT Phase 1). For all other candidates, the application fee is Rs 500 (Rs 400 is refundable after advancing to CBRT Phase 1, after deducting bank charges). The application fee must be paid online. Age limit
Applicants must be under 33 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Age reduction will be applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on Computer Based Testing (CBT) followed by document verification (DV) and medical examination.
Exam Type
CBT Stage 1: 100 multiple choice questions for 100 points; duration – 90 minutes.
CBT Stage 2: 150 multiple choice questions for 150 points; duration – 120 minutes.
In both stages, one-third negative marking will be applied for each wrong answer.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a salary between Rs 35,400 and Rs 1,12,400 per month.
