Prince William set hearts racing during his trip to Brazil after royal fans were caught up in a key detail during one of his engagements. The Prince of Wales has been involved in various activities in the South American country since his arrival on Monday.

He visited the Brazilian island hermitage on Tuesday. Paquetá took a boat tour of the Guapimirim mangrove region, a protected and preserved natural beauty spot in the northeast Brazil’s picturesque Guanabara Bay. While there, the future King, dressed in dark trousers, a green shirt and brown combat boots, planted three saplings with guardians and said: “I hope they grow well. Next time I come, these will all be mangroves.”

But it seems William’s efforts in planting did not go unnoticed by royal admirers, who gushed over his appearance and especially his arms while he worked.

Cradling her with the confidence of a father of three young children, William said “Bless her” before handing her over to his grandmother Christina.

Andre Luis Junior, the baby’s cousin and teacher, said: “Nobody asked him; he just took it. That’s probably because he has three children. He loves children.”
