MP Alleges Fraud In All Stages Of Paddy Procurement

NIZAMABAD: Alleging irregularities at every stage of paddy procurement, BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind pointed out that although the Center procured only 10 lakh metric tonnes in 2014, the figure has now risen to almost one crore metric tonnes.
Speaking to reporters at the BJP district office on Friday, Arvind emphasized the need to create awareness among farmers about crop rotation and appealed for support to those affected by untimely rains.
While claiming to advocate for BC welfare, he criticized Congress and BRS for halting fee reimbursement, calling it “shameful.” He also accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of acting like a slave to K. Chandrashekar Rao and added that both the parties have no moral right to seek votes in the Jubilee Hills bypoll, ignoring public issues.
Arvind also said, “I campaign in Jubilee Hills more than those serving there. My words alone carry more weight than their statements.” He added: “My social media power is stronger than all their campaigns combined.”
He also told state BJP president Ramachandra Rao not to file a complaint against him and claimed that the BJP in Nizamabad was very strong, citing Armoor MLA Rakesh Reddy’s victory as evidence.
