Trump-Netanyahu talks to focus on Gaza Strip ceasefire

US President Donald Trump said that when he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House next week, he would discuss the situations in the Gaza Strip and Iran, and soon he added that he hoped to obtain a ceasefire in the Palestinian generation.

Trump plans to meet Netanyahu on Monday and said that during his visit to Florida, he said that Netanyahu wanted one, he would be “very solid” because of the need for a fast Gaza Strip.

A Israeli official said he would meet with US special ambassador Steve Witkoff, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance on Tuesday.

Trump and Netanyahu worked together on a military operation against the nuclear areas of Iran, which resulted in the US B-2 bombing raids in June.

Trump said he hoped that a cease -fire agreement can be made for the hostess next week between Israel and Iran aligned Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip.

“We hope this will happen. And we look forward to the next week,” he said to journalists leaving the White House for a day trip to Florida.

“We want to take the hostages out.”

Hamas says that he is willing to release the hostages in the Gaza Strip under any agreement to end the war, while Israel says that Hamas can only end if he is disarmed and dismantled.

Hamas refuses to leave his arms.

According to the Israeli Tallies, the war in the Gaza Strip attacked Israel, killed 1200 people and took 251 hostages on October 7, 2023.
