Primark issues urgent product recall as parents warned ‘stop using’ | UK | News

Primark has issued an emergency recall for two baby products sold by the retailer, warning parents to “stop using these products immediately”. The fashion chain is asking customers to return the 2-Piece Pacifier Clips – Baby Bear (Kimball no. 69489) and 2-Piece Pacifier Clips – Balloon (Kimball no. 80010). These products, used to secure mannequins to clothing or strollers, do not meet the requirements of British standard tests.

Clips featuring the bear were sold in the UK between June and August 2025, and clips with balloons were sold between March and September 2025. Primark said these “do not meet our usual high safety standards” and “do not fully comply with relevant safety standards specific to pacifier clips”.

Anyone purchasing counterfeit clips should return them to any Primark store for a full refund; No receipt required.

Anyone with further questions should contact customer service at help.uk@help.primark.com.

Primark has urged parents to “stop using the product immediately” due to concerns about safety standards.

A spokesperson said: “We are recalling the products pictured above due to a safety issue. We have learned that our products do not meet our usual high safety standards.

“The products do not fully comply with the relevant safety standards specific to pacifier clips.

“Please stop using the product immediately. Please return the product to any of our Primark stores. You do not need to show proof of purchase.”
