Russian strikes hit apartment block, kill four: Ukraine

A Russian drone crashed into a skyscraper in eastern Ukraine, killing three people and injuring 12, Ukrainian officials said.
The attack in Dnipro, Ukraine’s fourth-largest city, was part of a massive missile and drone bombardment that targeted Russia’s energy infrastructure across the country and also killed a worker at an energy company further north in Kharkiv, a local official said.
This comes as the fight for the strategic city of Pokrovsk in the east of the country has reached a crucial stage, with both Ukraine and Russia racing to convince US President Donald Trump that they can win on the battlefield.
Emergency services said a fire broke out in a nine-storey building in Dnipro, destroying several apartments.
While rescue teams reached the bodies of 3 people, it was stated that there were 2 children among the injured.
Russia fired a total of 458 drones and 45 missiles, including 32 ballistic missiles.
The air force reported that Ukrainian forces shot and neutralized 406 drones and 9 missiles, and 25 points were hit.
Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk said in a post on Facebook that authorities cut off electricity in many regions due to the attacks.
“A drone caught us, but luckily everyone is OK,” Wehrschütz wrote on Instagram and posted a cellphone video of the incident.
According to ORF, the incident occurred in the Donetsk region.
The reporters were traveling to the city of Kostiantynivka with the Proliska charity.
In the video, it is seen that the people in the vehicle ran away before the explosion was heard.
Afterwards, a shattered bumper, burning debris and smoke are seen.
