Horrifying hit-and-run dashcam footage shows man fighting for life on Bruce Highway

Horrific footage has emerged of a hit-and-run incident that left a man fighting for his life on a busy highway north of Brisbane.
The clip shows a blue Toyota Camry colliding with the back of a car that was slowing down due to a traffic stop near North Lakes on Thursday afternoon.
The driver of the first vehicle exited the vehicle to confront the driver of the Camry, who then turned around, struck both the victim and the driver’s door, and fled the scene.

The victim, a man in his 30s, appears to have been thrown onto the road in front of his car, then slowly stood up and limped back to his vehicle.
She suffered serious abdominal and leg injuries and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for “life-threatening” injuries, according to the Queensland Ambulance Service.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV footage to come forward.
