Ali Larter’s early morning routine helps her own ‘Landman’ character

Ali Larter is realistic about what it takes to stay in shape.
During a recent interview people magazineThe 49-year-old actor talked about how he stayed in shape for his role in the movie “Landman”.
“Let me tell you this. I work really hard, okay? I don’t act like I don’t,” he said. “I get up at 4.30 [a.m.] on Mondays. I’m going for a run. Only 30 minutes. I try to eat very clean, but I do eat. I’m one of those protein moms. I consume a lot of protein throughout the day. It works for me.”
The “Final Destination” actress stars in the popular Paramount+ series as Angela Norris, the ex-wife of Billy Bob Thornton’s character who is often portrayed as confident and attractive.

He also revealed that he does “plenty of strength training” in addition to running.
“At the end of the day, every time you have to put on a swimsuit and walk in front of someone, it’s really hard,” she said. “When I look around, the sexiest women I know are the ones who have it. So part of getting there with Angela is having it.”

Larter stunned fans when she posted a mirror selfie in a red bikini in her trailer while filming the second season of “Landman.”
In the caption, she talked about “how much it motivates me to play a character who is so comfortable with her body” and shared that she recently shot a bikini scene for the series and then how she prepared for these scenes.

His preparations included waking up at 5:30 a.m., drinking celery juice and coffee, and exercising; he would then “dip my face in ice water, apply oil to my spray tan,” and leave for work at 7 a.m.
She later said in an interview with People that “there’s no room for insecurity in my mind” when playing Angela.
“I couldn’t have done this if I had let insecurity in,” he said. “And I really believe in sexiness; yes, she’s sexy on the outside, but guess what? She’s got it on the inside, too.”
When she’s not busy filming, Larter told People she’s sleeping at home and spending time with her family. He previously spoke to Fox News Digital in November 2024 about his decision to move his family out of Los Angeles for a “simpler life” in Idaho.

“I don’t think so, Hayes. [MacArthur] and I never thought we’d be able to leave Hollywood, and after the pandemic, you know, it really shook up our town and a lot of things changed anyway,” she said. “So my husband is in Wilmington filming ‘The Runarounds’ and I’m in Fort Worth filming ‘Landman’ and we weren’t going to be in L.A. anyway. “So I think it’s really exciting that we’re taking the bold step and putting our family first, and we’re really excited and proud of that decision.”
