Strictly Come Dancing elimination leaked hours before the results show as devastated BBC fans fume ‘no way’

Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left devastated once again as the results of Saturday’s show have been leaked.

Pre-recorded results are broadcast on the BBC every Sunday but are filmed immediately following the live show on Saturdays.

But over the past few weeks, the identity of the final star to be sent home has been revealed in advance by an audience mole, ruining the show for many and enraging fans.

This week the results are already circulating on X, revealing two couples in the bottom two and the seemingly departed star.

The Daily Mail chose not to name the star, who left the show with her professional dancer.

Fans who came to X asked: ‘I swear [they] Were you higher in the leaderboards? Was there a mistake or something?’

Others wrote: ‘If this be true, the time has come; It’s such a shame;

‘No, it’s not possible. I thought the judges would save them.’

Another fan questioned whether the star made a mistake in the dance, which would cause the person in question to leave the show.

Some fans supported this choice, writing: ‘Right result; Absolutely the right decision; No surprise there really!’

Next week’s results show revealed a special mix featuring dance group Diversity.

Rehearsals are continuing with the band, which became famous after winning the Britain’s Got Talent award in 2009 and beating the famous Scottish singer Susan Boyle in the final.

Now 14 members of Diversity, including Perri Kiely and sisters Ashley and Jordan Banjo, will make their debut on the BBC ballroom show during the results show on November 16.

In the performance, male hip hop crew Raye’s Where’s My Husband? He will dance to the song. Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova, Michelle Tsiakkis, Nancy Xu and Jowita Przystał, along with five professional female dancers.

An insider told The Mirror: ‘Fans can expect a spectacular group number choreographed by Jason Gilkinson and Ashley Banjo.

Set in Los Angeles, it’s a dance extravaganza where old-school Hollywood collides with hip hop, as five Strictly pros and Diversity celebrate some of the most iconic screen sirens of the Golden Age of cinema, including Marilyn Monroe.

‘Professionals will basically ask Diversity what exactly the title of the song means.’

The results show, which features the mix, will also feature a separate performance from pop star Olly Murs and will be the final show before Strictly’s annual Blackpool Special, which airs on Saturday 22 November.

It comes as bosses are under pressure to cancel a pre-recorded Sunday night results show after failing to stop a mole from leaking the result of the popular dance competition.

The Mail on Sunday has revealed that some BBC chiefs believe the program should revert to its original format as viewers vote after the Saturday episode in which The National Lottery aired.

This was followed by a live results show where the contestant with the least public support was evicted.

Unlike the current incarnation, which was filmed on Saturday night but not shown until Sunday evening, there was no dance competition so the judges had no chance of saving anyone.

But now, an hour after filming finished at Elstree Studios, ‘Strictly Mole’ leaked the results online and on Sunday morning news of who had been sacked began circulating all over the internet.

Bosses appreciate that Sunday’s results attracted more than seven million viewers; However, if the results are shown on that date, it is certain that the viewing figures on Saturday night will increase.

The BBC’s Sunday evening show is now considered ‘perfectly wholesome’, thanks to Antiques Roadshow and Hamza’s Hidden Wild Isles, hosted by former Strictly winner Hamza Yassin.

A source said: ‘This has become a complete farce, everyone watching knows it was filmed the night before; But more importantly, the result is published almost instantly on the internet.

‘It’s fair to say that this mole has been a thorn in the side of the BBC. You can find out what happened until 23.30 on Saturday night.

‘A full disclosure appears on social media and there is no way to stop it. Fans have to spend all of Sunday trying to avoid spoilers online or listening to who joins the dance at lunch on Sunday.

‘With the departure of Tess and Claudia (Strictly presenters who leave at the end of this series), it’s the ideal time to change things.’

Strictly speaking live on BBC1 on Saturday night. After an intermission during which the judges and presenters change their outfits, they begin pre-recording Sunday night’s results show.
