MLB pitchers indicted in gambling scheme

Cleveland Guardians pitchers Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz were indicted Sunday on charges related to the alleged gambling scheme.
Clase and Ortiz were accused of betting rigging on MLB games. Ortiz was arrested early Sunday, according to ESPN. Clase is not yet in custody.
MLB told ESPN: “MLB contacted federal law enforcement at the outset of the investigation and cooperated fully throughout the process. We are aware of the indictment and today’s arrest, and our investigation is ongoing.”
