How you can help reunite missing children with their families | News

More than 70,000 children are reported missing each year in the UK. The misery that follows (for the child, for the family, for society) is often hidden. Many of these young people have nowhere to turn for help when they need it most.

The Independent has partnered with Missing People. Safe Search offer. Our aim is to raise £165,000 to help Missing People launch this new, free service, designed with input from young people and offering 24-hour support, advice and a route to safety.
