French Open Champion Coco Gauff Knocked Out In First Round Of Wimbledon

London: The American second seed Coco Gauff was subjected to a striking Wimbledon defeat for being beaten by 7-6 (7/3) by the French Open Champion Ukranian World Number on Tuesday, 7-6 (7/3), 6-1.
Gauff was expected to run a strong run at All England Club after his victory in Roland Garros in June.
However, instead of relying on his success in the 21 -year -old Paris Clay, he has endured the oldest Grand Slam exit since the loss of the first round in Wimbledon in 2023.
Yastmska won the victory in the first minute in the first minute, Gauff third seed Jessica Pegula and the fifth seed Zheng Qinwen joined the tournament as a high -profile departure on Tuesday.
Gauff, the Grand Slam champion twice, did not pass the fourth round in each of his six visit to Wimbledon.
