Three-cent House Sites Allotted To Project-Hit Families In Renigunta

What are you doing? Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Venkata Sudheer Reddy distributed homemade patta to families affected by land acquisition at CBIT Colony in Renigunta near Tirupati on Tuesday.

Each of the 51 beneficiary families was allotted three cents of land in the same area as compensation for the 1.5 cents obtained for the expansion of the Renigunta-Chennai railway line.

The MLA said the initiative reflects the NDA government’s determination to protect the vulnerable sections while ensuring that development works do not burden the poor. The administration ensured that families did not leave their neighborhoods and received enough land to rebuild their homes, the official said.
