Protesters break into COP30 venue in Brazil

Protesters broke through security lines and entered the site of the COP30 UN climate talks in Belem, Brazil.
BBC journalists saw UN security personnel running behind Brazilian soldiers, shouting at delegates to leave the venue immediately.
Videos posted online showed people storming the COP30 entrance with banners.
The Brazilian government told the BBC that the protesters appeared to be from indigenous and political groups.
The UN told the BBC that protesters breached the first security barrier at the venue and were then prevented from entering.
A security guard told Reuters news agency that he was struck in the head by a drum thrown by a protester.
The talks host delegates from nearly 200 countries, including senior politicians from around the world.
The talks are being held in Belém, on the edge of the Amazon rainforest, which is home to dozens of indigenous groups.
Many are vocal critics of the environmental damage caused by climate change and deforestation.
