A diary and notebook found in Dr Muzammil and Dr Umar Mohammad’s room at Al Falah University revealed important details about the planning of the terrorist attack. Investigators believe the terrorists have long been plotting as part of a larger, well-coordinated plan.
According to the investigating agencies, diaries belonging to Dr Umar Mohammad and Dr Muzammil have been seized and are expected to answer many important questions regarding the Delhi Red Fort blast. Diaries are published on Tuesdays and Wednesdays by Dr. Umar’s room number 4 and Dr. It was seized in Muzammil’s room number 13.
Police also found a diary in Muzammil’s room, where 360 kg of explosives were previously found in Dhauj, Faridabad, about 300 meters from Al Falah University.
Investigators said the recovered diaries and notebooks contained coded words and references to dates between Nov. 8 and 12, indicating ongoing planning during that period. The documents also list the names of around 25 people, mostly from Jammu, Kashmir and Faridabad. The matter is under active police investigation.
Meanwhile, researchers, senior physician at Al Falah University in Faridabad, Dr. He also confirmed that Umar Mohammad was driving the i20 car, which exploded near the Red Fort on November 10, killing 12 people and injuring many others.
According to Delhi Police sources, DNA test results positively identified Omer. His DNA sample was a 100 percent match to that of his mother and brother, leaving no doubt that he was in the vehicle at the time of the explosion. DNA was recovered from bone fragments, teeth and clothing fragments recovered from i20’s crushed remains.
The powerful explosion occurred at around 6.52pm on November 10 and sent shockwaves through the capital, prompting urgent security alerts. The blast occurred near one of India’s most iconic monuments, sparking alarm over the breach in the high-security zone surrounding the Red Fort.
Following the incident, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) officially took over the investigation from the Special Cell of the Delhi Police. NIA officials have cordoned off the area and are conducting forensic examinations of the debris, including explosive residues, vehicle parts and digital evidence.
Preliminary findings indicate that the car was rigged with high-grade improvised explosives (IEDs). Investigators are now tracing the source of the explosives and trying to map Omer’s movements in the days before the explosion.
Sources also revealed that Umar had left his residence in Faridabad earlier that day and informed his colleagues that he would be attending a personal meeting in Delhi. Authorities are investigating whether he acted alone or in coordination with a larger network.
The explosion on November 10 took place hours after Jammu and Kashmir Police found nearly 3,000 kg of explosives in two residences in Faridabad in Haryana.
