Emails reveal Jeffrey Epstein and associate discussed ‘girls’ and travel | Jeffrey Epstein

While Donald Trump’s justice department has downplayed the possibility that other men were involved in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of teenage girls, an email released Nov. 12 as part of the House oversight committee’s investigation of Epstein shows an exchange between the late financier and an associate in which they discussed “girls” and travel.

Epstein asked “what’s your schedule?” he sent an e-mail asking. To an employee on July 23, 2010. The latter replied the next morning: “the other girl’s name is [redacted].” The Guardian is withholding the name of this employee as attempts to identify and contact him were unsuccessful.

That afternoon, the employee also wrote: “Can you call me/I’m from Tigrane, he wants to meet you, he said he wants to build something with you in Ibiza/with 8 of the best girls/Can you come to Ibiza, we have a huge house or how can we organize it/Even meeting Jean Luc could do a great job/there are very interesting top models at the ready I told him not to do anything/make an agreement with anyone before meeting you.” The Guardian was unable to identify the figure referred to as “tigran”.

“He has stopped working with IMG and Trump, please call me and let me know what your plans are/best regards,” the associate wrote, apparently referring to French modeling agent and Epstein friend Jean-Luc Brunel.

“I’ll be in Paris on Tom000rw night,” Epstein wrote on the chain.

A few hours after the email mentioning the “top 8 girls” the employee wrote: “Can you come to Ibiza or send us tickets to come to Paris with Tigrane and the five girls because they have return tickets from Barcelona, if they live from here it would be great if you could arrange tickets for us to Paris, please let me know so we can organize.”

Authorities arrested Brunel at Charles de Gaulle airport in December 2020 on suspicion of crimes including allegations of rape and sexual assault of minors and human trafficking of underage girls for sexual exploitation. Brunel, who was suspected of supplying young girls to Epstein, was found dead by suicide in prison in February 2022.

The email exchange occurred almost exactly a year after Epstein was released from a Florida prison, where he was sentenced to a short sentence for solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of a minor for prostitution.

Nothing in these emails indicates that Trump was present or agreed with the subject of the debate. Trump, who was friends with Epstein before an apparent falling out nearly 15 years ago, has denied any wrongdoing.

Trump has been embroiled for months over his ties to Epstein, largely due to the justice department’s handling of the investigation.

In July, Justice Department officials said their investigation into the Epstein investigation files “did not subject any third party to allegations of unlawful impropriety” and that “this systematic review did not reveal an incriminating ‘client list.'”

Additionally, the memo said, “We found no credible evidence that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We have not uncovered evidence that would warrant an investigation against unindicted third parties.”

The memo appeased accusers who said others participated in Epstein’s abuse. Trump’s political allies and supporters, many of whom believe that Epstein colluded with high-profile individuals to traffic young girls, were outraged that the president had promised to release the files.

The president’s name appears repeatedly in other documents released Wednesday by members of the oversight committee. Surveillance Democrats released email exchanges with Epstein in 2011, 2015 and 2019.

In these conversations, Epstein described Trump as a “dog that doesn’t bark.” She also claimed that Trump “spent hours” with one of Epstein’s victims at his home; Epstein also claimed that Trump “of course” knew about the girls.

The 20,000-page document, released hours later by Oversight Republicans, showed that Epstein knew about Trump. Epstein and his pilot emailed about air travel involving Trump’s own transportation; he also appeared to consume news about the president’s political difficulties.

These letters also showed that Epstein spoke badly about Trump. “trump – borderline crazy. dersh is a few feet from the border but not too much,” Epstein wrote to former treasury secretary Larry Summers in December 2018, an apparent reference to his onetime lawyer Alan Dershowitz.

Summers said: “Is Trump going to go crazy?”

“This is not a new phenomenon for him. In the past he was told not to leave his apartment. This is how he survived almost personal bankruptcy. His strength is remarkable. He is beaten 24/7,” said Epstein. “I hope someone close to him is charged but I’m not sure, otherwise the pressure of the unknown will force him to do crazy things.”

Asked for comment on Wednesday, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told the Guardian: “These emails literally prove nothing.”

Earlier the same day, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Democrats were “selectively leaking emails to liberal media to create a false narrative to smear President Trump.” Leavitt also stated that the unnamed victim mentioned in these emails was Virginia Giuffre and that “President Trump has repeatedly said he was not involved in any crime.”

“Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for harassing his female employees, including Giuffre,” Leavitt said. “These stories are nothing more than malicious efforts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments, and any American with common sense can see through this deception and a clear distraction from reopening the government.”

When asked to comment on the post mentioning “girls,” White House spokesman Jackson said: “These emails literally prove nothing. Liberal publications are desperately trying to distract Democrats from this to talk about anything other than the Democrats’ complete defeat by President Trump in the shutdown fight. We will not be distracted, and the entire administration will continue to deliver on the promises the president was elected to make, including Making America Affordable Again.”

The justice department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
