‘I’m Going to Stop You There!’ CNN Anchor Taken Aback by Take on Megyn Kelly ‘Pedophile’ Rant

ERICA HILL: I want to start where Megyn Kelly commented. He added that this was all disgusting. Honestly, I’m not sure what adding this changes. The thought of this, and the thought of this person she’s discussing, seems to somehow suggest that it’s okay for a girl to be 15 versus 8.
Bradley, why are you bringing this up?
BRADLEY DEVLIN: I don’t know. But there is a comedian who has exactly this point where he examines the different medical distinctions that experts have identified and say, but if you mention any of them, you sound like a creep and weird and you probably shouldn’t talk about it.
I see what Megyn was trying to do there. As he said, I don’t think it’s possible without a difference.
HILL: Wait, I’ll stop you there because I’m not doing that! What was that – no, I’ll stop you!
But what happened – in all seriousness, it’s true. This is not a comedy sketch. That’s not it – what was he trying to do? What point do you believe he was trying to convey at that moment?
DEVLIN: I think he was trying to say that these kinds of interactions, like the network that Jeffrey Epstein built, are not the kind of child sex trafficking that we talk about – when we talk about young children abroad. Now, as he points out, there is a distinction without a difference.
HILL: Noel, when you look at this, this is now a moot point, what does that tell you about where we land?
NOEL KING: I have a 15-year-old nephew. And what I can say is that I don’t think Megyn Kelly should voice everything that’s on her mind. It was a terrible thing to say.
