Aaron Rodgers left the game with a left hand injury. He was seen holding his wrist after he was attacked by several Bengals defenders. It was doubtful that he would return, but he didn’t. Instead, Mason Rudolph entered the game and Pittsburgh pressured Joe Flacco to take the 34-12 lead.
Rodgers was 9/15 with 116 passing yards and a touchdown.

The Washington Commanders needed Marcus Mariota to step aside late in their game against the Miami Dolphins.
He was evaluated for a concussion and was able to return to play. When he returned, he ran the ball toward the red zone, hoping to set up the score for the Commanders. But in vain.
The Commanders lost to the Dolphins 16-13 in overtime. It was the first regular season match played in Madrid. Mariota was 20/30 with 213 passing yards, one touchdown pass and one interception.

While fans saw a few more quarterbacks go down, there were already plenty of backups from Week 11.
While Jayden Daniels suffered a devastating injury a few weeks ago, Mariota was one of them. Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco started against Rodgers and the Steelers as the team’s third starting quarterback this season. Joe Burrow was out with turf toe.

The Cardinals reintroduced Jacoby Brissett to replace Kyler Murray. Dillon Gabriel started for the Cleveland Browns. Although he wasn’t technically a backup quarterback, he started the season at QB2 before the team traded Flacco to the Bengals.
