Mega Digital Life Certificate campaign conducted by South Western Railway in Mysuru

Mysuru Division of South Western Railway organized a mega Digital Life Certificate Campaign in the city on Monday, November 17.
It was part of a nationwide campaign to help retirees and family retirees submit their annual Digital Life Certificates using the latest facial verification technology and was carried out in coordination with the Personnel and Accounting Directorates.
Officials said this also entails creating awareness about the Jeevan Pramaan digital platform. Officials said the initiative aims to provide greater convenience, ease of living and a completely hassle-free experience to all retirees. The response was overwhelming and there was active participation from various bank officials, they added.
Approximately 350 retirees, including family retirees, benefited from the services during the camp. Mudit Mittal, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru Division, Shammas Hameed, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Vishnu Gouda, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Parthasarathy, President, Railway Pensioners Welfare Association, Mysuru and G. Swaminathan, Secretary, Pensioners Association, Mysuru were present.
Additionally, senior railway officials and senior officials of multiple banks also attended the event and helped guide retirees through the digital certification process.
As part of the event, Mr. Mittal congratulated retirees aged above 80 years and appreciated their valuable contribution to Indian Railways.
According to railway officials, the camp has not only seamlessly provided Digital Life Certificate to over 350 retirees, but also offers Unique Medical Identity Card registration and grievance redressal services, making it a comprehensive support platform dedicated to the welfare of retirees.
