GATE Exam: The schedule specifies the dates and session ranges for each of the 30 test papers.
DOOR 2026: Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) has released the full official schedule of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. According to the schedule, each exam day will consist of two sessions: 9:30 – 12:30 in the morning and 14:30 – 17:30 in the afternoon. The schedule specifies the dates and session intervals for each of the 30 test papers.

The exam will be held on 7, 8, 14 and 15 February 2026 in computer-based testing (CBT) format.

GATE 2026: Important instructions
- GATE 2026 will be conducted entirely in computer-based test (CBT) format.
- Candidates are only allowed to use the virtual calculator provided in the testing interface.
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones or personal calculators are strictly prohibited from entering the exam hall.
- All candidates are expected to comply with the safety and health rules published by the examination authorities.
- Any deviation from the stated instructions may result in disqualification from the exam.
About GATE 2026
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a nationally prestigious exam. It evaluates candidates for a comprehensive understanding of different undergraduate level subjects in Engineering/Technology/Science/Commerce/Arts/Architecture/Humanities.
GATE 2026 is conducted by National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MOE), IISc and all IITs on behalf of Government of India. IIT Guwahati is the Organizing Institute of GATE 2026.
