Sonu Sood pledges to fund education of 10-month-old boy whose mother was shot dead in Bihar poll violence

At the moment of deep tragedy and chaos in Bihar’s Bhojpur district, hope came from actor Sonu Sood, who once again proved why he is considered one of India’s greatest real-life heroes. The actor has come forward to take full responsibility for the education of the 10-month-old son of Nikki Devi, who was brutally shot dead during election-related violence in Dullamchak village on November 6.

Father Rohit Rai, who is experiencing the pain of losing his wife, expressed the depth of his helplessness and helplessness as follows: “Yesterday my wife was with me, today she is not there… Now it is just me and my son. I don’t even know if I will live tomorrow. If Bollywood actor Sonu Sood adopts my son and takes the responsibility of his education, it will be a great relief for me.”

When Ashutosh Kumar, national president of Bhumihar-Brahmin Ekta Manch Foundation, brought the incident to Sonu Sood’s notice through a video call, the actor was visibly moved. In an emotional response, he promised that Sood Charitable Trust would support the child’s education “from KG to PG”.

Ashutosh Kumar later shared the update online: “As soon as Sonu Sood came to know about the Tarari incident, he emotionally announced that Sood Charitable Trust would take full responsibility for the child’s education. We express our heartfelt gratitude for his generosity.”

At a time when the family was demanding justice and grappling with unimaginable pain, Sonu Sood’s intervention brought a ray of confidence and dignity to the child’s future.
