“God is real. God is powerful,” the post read. “I’m sorry I have no words right now… I’m just grateful! I’m coming, I’m starting to breathe on my own now. Thank you sincerely to everyone.”

The update comes after Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Boyd was “optimistic” in recent conversations.

“That’s what gives me peace of mind; he’s in good spirits,” Glenn told reporters during a media appearance ahead of the team’s Week 12 game against the Baltimore Ravens. “His wife and child are in good spirits and he will come out of this situation very happy.”

Boyd was listed in critical but stable condition. Glenn said there is no timeline for when Boyd might be released from the hospital.

“I don’t know yet,” said the coach. “But I can tell you, just talking to him, he felt really optimistic. And again, that’s what comforts me, is that he feels that way and talks that way.”

NYPD has released photos of a suspect wanted in the shooting. Authorities did not identify the man by name.

Police said, “The wanted person was stated to be male and of medium complexion.” “He was last seen wearing a black hat, black sweater, black trousers, multi-coloured sneakers and carrying a black school bag.”

Glenn said Boyd has been on his mind since the incident.

“The first thing I thought was that she had a new child,” Glenn said. “I’m thinking about his wife, I’m thinking about his kid, and I want to make sure he’s okay. That’s the only thing going through my mind. …

“There’s a process to this, I’m not going to get into that, but I’m happy with the fact that he’s going to come out of this in really good shape.”
